constucted steel (I-beams, etc.) Welded fabrications, qualifying
samples for certifying welders and material processes.Various
components were tested for foundries, steel constructions, product
reliability, weld engineering, heat treating and product safety
encompasing many industries. Fabricated products were made of
pipe, tubing, plate or sheet stock. I also performed CWI inspections. |

UT Thickness inspections. I was a Level 3 and trained, qualified
and certified other NDT technicians as well and managed the
NDT facility to meet customer requirements. Duties included
writing procedures and process monitoring for compliance. |

UT Thickness inspection on SS, INCO and TI welded and brazed
components and assemblies for jet engine tubing configurations.
As a level 3, I was responsible to train, qualify and certify
20-30 technicians in these NDT disciplines and perform audits
of the processes, systems and personnel for specificaion and
ISO compliance. I developed work instructions and procedures
for the NDT processes. I was involved in borescope and hydro
inspection processes as well. |
