TRAINING

NDT is used to determine the integrity of parts and materials. It has long been recognized that the effective application of NDT methods depends on the knowledge and skills of the person applying the method. Effective training provides knowledge of the technical principles and the basic skills required to properly apply the NDT processes.

We offer NDT Level I, Level II, and refresher training courses developed to meet the needs of your business and customers. These are offered for Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Radiography (RT).

NDT Level I courses are designed to train individuals in the basic theory and practices of the method. There are no training or preparation requirements for students.

NDT Level II courses are designed for individuals who have successfully completed an NDT Level I general training course or equivalent. On-the-job experience in the method may enhance the value of this training course, but is not a prerequisite.

Each course is designed to satisfy the requirements of NAS 410 as required. The course length is determined by the requirements of the specified documents.

Courses may use overheads, PowerPoint or other electronic presentations for the training. Student course materials are included in the fee. ASNT NDT Training Manuals are used as the reference material. Each student receives his own book.

Quizzes are used throughout all training courses to assess comprehension for each major section of training. Successful course completion is based on satisfactory attendance and a final examination score of at least 75%. A Certificate of Completion will be issued for all successful students to provide you with a record of recognized training hours by a certified NDT Level III for each successful student.

Specific training to meet code, specification, or client requirements is available; proposals are provided upon request.

Training courses may be conducted on-site or candidates can attend an open scheduled class at a location specified. Courses can be also be scheduled at times convenient for you.

Our Currently Scheduled Classes (Remember - we can schedule a class for your needs as well.)
